Advertising Sales Manager

Our Client, a local publishing house (located in Maghaberry Village 20 mins from Belfast) wishes to appoint an Advertising Sales Manager to work across its several established publications, including Ireland’s leading public policy and business magazines.
This fantastic new vacancy for an Advertising Sales Manager is required to work alongside our sales team in generating leads and sales. We are looking for someone who can be an enthusiastic team player, while being motivated to achieve their own targets and goals. This full-time position will be based 4 days in our Maghaberry office (after training), one day from home and will require work in RoI on a regular basis.
Day to Day
- Proactively manage and sell advertising and exhibition across our portfolio of publications and events
- Develop relationships with key decision makers
- Drive new business opportunities, identifying leads in the market and negotiate new deals
- Conduct account management duties, including renewal
Person Spec
- A genuine drive and hunger to achieve targets
- Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Good telephone manner and computer skills
- Experience in B2B sales
- Attend events to network and build industry and customer relationships
- All related sales administration including ensuring client sign-off.
The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level and will, preferably, have a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in media/B2B sales/corporate sales.
