Job Overview:

Our client, specialising in a range of confectionery products, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Executive to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales, expanding market reach, and fostering long-term relationships with retail and wholesale clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential retailers: Build and maintain a client base of supermarkets, convenience stores, and specialty retailers and wholesalers.
  • Achieve sales targets: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals through proactive outreach and client management.
  • Client relationship management: Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring excellent customer service and repeat business.
  • Product promotion: Educate clients on the features, benefits, and pricing of the confectionery products, as well as upcoming promotions or seasonal offerings.
  • Market analysis: Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies.
  • Order management: Coordinate orders, deliveries, and any after-sales support, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Sales reporting: Keep accurate records of all sales activities, including client meetings, calls, and feedback, and provide regular reports to the sales manager.
  • Brand ambassador: Represent the brand at trade shows, events, and client meetings to generate interest and awareness.

The person:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive, preferably in FMCG, food & beverage, or confectionery industries.
  • Or a recent University graduate with a desire to get into sales
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to analyse sales data and market trends.
  • Valid driver’s license.
